Slate Roofs

Even the word seems to say it all: Slate quarried for roofing stock is of dense, sound rock and exceedingly tough and durable. At Sunridge Roofing, Inc., most of our slate is quarried from Vermont, Canada, Wales and Spain. Some of slate's greatest attributes include:

   · Slate is practically non-absorptive.
   · Slate is absolutely fire and waterproof.
   · Slate is resistant to weather changes, with no disintegration.

Slate roofs have often lasted for a century, giving a minimum cost per year, in contrast to other types of manufactured roofing which must be re-roofed three or four times within this same period. Natural Slate colors, sizes and texture afford many architectural effects, contributing to the appearance and beauty of any building. At Sunridge Roofing, Inc., we can provide detailed information and architectural services from single size 3/16" thickness applications to intermingled rough texture in random widths to graduated length and thickness.
